A member from one of the competing teams delivers a statement during the fourth Annual National Moot Court Competition on International Humanitarian Law (IHL) held in Kigali, Rwanda.
The Treaties,
States Parties and Commentaries includes the text of IHL
treaties and related documents and lists the States that have signed and/or
ratified or acceded to the treaties, with their potential reservations or
declarations. It also contains the existing commentaries to the four 1949
Geneva Conventions and their Additional Protocols, and include the updated Commentaries.

The National implementation
contains laws and case law that implement IHL treaties and other
related international instruments, and illustrates possible approaches to
incorporating IHL in national legal and administrative frameworks. The
collection has topics organised by state and most of the documents in this
collection are entered with a summary to facilitate their consultation.

Judges, court registrars,
researchers and inspectors of the High Court-Chamber of International Crimes
and the Court of the Appeal pose for a picture during the IHL training. The
ICRC, acting in accordance with its mandate as the guardian of IHL, promotes
IHL in Rwanda and throughout the world.
